Course Description

The lectures on Ezra and Nehemiah involve systematically answering the fundamental questions to ask when studying a biblical text: What does the text say? How does the text say it? Why does it say it that way? So what? These same questions underly the lecture on Esther with beautifully similar results. These books speak to God’s people, whether they returned to Israel or remained in exile, to reassure them that he remembers his covenant and is calling them to restored relationship with him!
